This 8 hour course is designed as an introductory training course for those with limited experience or exposure in Planning & Scheduling. This can also apply as a refresher for those who participate project controls on a regular basis. It is also perfect for managers, supervisors. This course establishes an understanding of how a project plan is developed and interactive planning becomes an optimal schedule. This course teaches the basic logic links between activities, calculations for early and late starts and finishes, and identification of the critical path and concepts of float. Interpretation of the reports gives this student the ability to use the schedule as a communication tool and collect progress against the plan.
This course is a presentation style course with live software demonstrations. This course content will be presented as a mixture of lecture, discussion, and hands-on exercises for the students to practice and apply what they learn.
PS 100 - Project Scheduling Fundamentals
Registered attendee cancellation: Individual registered attendees must cancel their paid registration by 12:00 am three business days prior to an event to qualify for refund. Cancellations received without sufficient notice or those who are a no-show are not entitled to a refund. Any exceptions to this policy will be at the sole discretion of Xlander Consulting Inc., and requests for refund must be received prior to the event.
• Individual registrations that are cancelled by the registrant will be subject to a 25% processing fee according to the fee schedule as shown in the Xlander’s cancellation policy (for the class).
• If the event is postponed and rescheduled, registrants will be given an opportunity to cancel their registration without penalty should they not be able to attend on the revised date.
