This Project Scheduling Workshop provides broad yet detailed coverage of project scheduling for both the less experienced planner/scheduler as well as the seasoned project management professional. This workshop is designed for those who recognize that having a better understanding of the scheduling tools, techniques, and scheduling philosophies can have a major impact to performance assessmentsand day-to-day project management decision making. Centered around the industry recognized Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG), and the Generally Accepted Scheduling Principals (GASP), this workshop allows the student to begin to understand the necessary fundamental background of scheduling concepts and their specific applications with emphasis on analysis using the Critical Path Method. This workshop explains how to assess schedule quality, the lack of which can invalidate a scheduling system and the data used by management, including an in- depth look at how to interpret schedule various reports to detect early warnings of potential schedule slips. This course content will be presented as a mixture of lecture, discussion, and hands-on exercises for the students to practice and apply what they learn.

PS300 - Advanced – Project Scheduling and Planning
A minimum of 5 participants must be signed up 1 weeks prior for the class to proceed.
Registered attendee cancellation: Individual registered attendees must cancel their paid registration by 12:00 am three business days prior to an event to qualify for refund. Cancellations received without sufficient notice or those who are a no-show are not entitled to a refund. Any exceptions to this policy will be at the sole discretion of Xlander Consulting Inc., and requests for refund must be received prior to the event.
• Individual registrations that are cancelled by the registrant will be subject to a 25% processing fee according to the fee schedule as shown in the Xlander’s cancellation policy (for the class).
• If the event is postponed and rescheduled, registrants will be given an opportunity to cancel their registration without penalty should they not be able to attend on the revised date.
